My name is Ryan. I write adventure-inspired music that is best enjoyed outdoors, and then I play that music with friends who make me smile. We call it The 14ers.
I write while I'm out in the backcountry working as a guide anywhere from Colorado to Mt. Kilimanjaro. I write in my head during hot-air-balloon, hiking, or photography adventures and I sneak out with my guitar at night to rehearse under the stars and explore the language of music. Any family adventure or detail of life can be a song ingredient. I'm lucky to have a few friends like you who support me and tell me that I should keep pursuing my love of music/songwriting -- so I look up to the sky and imagine the sources of light as YOU. It gives me purpose in a dark world to think that you might enjoy these tunes. Thank you for inspiring me and offering your guiding light.
